  • Potential Compensation with bonus and/or commission: $40,000-$75,000

What To Expect:

The Parts Advisor is responsible for assisting retail and service customers with their automotive parts needs while delivering exceptional customer service. This position supports parts sales, inventory management, and daily department operations in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers and technicians with parts inquiries in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication.
  • Identify, source, and sell automotive parts while promoting additional products and services when appropriate.
  • Process parts sales transactions and maintain accurate records within the dealership management system.
  • Receive, distribute, and track special-order and warranty parts.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stocking and organization of parts.
  • Work closely with the service department to ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Previous automotive parts, retail sales, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
