West Herr’s internship program offers a world of knowledge within a semester of experience.
Each intern enjoys competitive compensation, cross-company exposure, and unparalleled personal development with career readiness workshops and a dedicated West Herr mentor. Join the world-class team at New York State’s largest automotive group. We’re seeking interns across all fields to earn and learn with us – and potentially transition to a full-time job at the end.

Junior or senior undergraduate students
or recent graduates.
Eager and enthusiastic people who are
seeking real life work experiences.
The Specifics:
Our sales and fixed operations internships are open to students pursuing a degree in any field; business management or hospitality majors are preferred.
Accounting, marketing, information technology, and human resources intern applicants must be pursuing a degree in a related major or have the ability to demonstrate proficiency through ample coursework or work experience.
Our finance and insurance internship is exclusive to former sales interns.
Intern Commitment:
The Summer 2026 Internship
The Summer 2026 internship is a full-time work experience (40 hours per week) beginning on June 1, 2026 for ten (10) weeks.
The Fall 2026 Internship
The Fall 2026 internship is a part-time work experience (15-20 hours per week) beginning on September 7, 2026 for thirteen (13) weeks.
Where You’ll Work:
The West Herr Internship Experience program offers limited opportunities across Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse in:
• Sales
• Fixed Operations
• Finance and Insurance (must complete sales internship to be eligible)
We also offer the following internships in Buffalo only:
• Marketing
• Accounting
• Human Resources
• Information Technology
